Death Sentence
Reminiscent of the violent and unrelenting revenge films of the 1970s, Death Sentence follows Nick Hume as he takes the law into his own hands to take vengeance on the gang members who brutally murdered his son as part of an initiation ritual. But retribution only begets more violence as he finds himself fighting to save the rest of his family from the gang’s retaliation.
From splat pack Saw director James Wan, Death Sentence is loosely based on the 1975 novel by Brian Garfield, whose 1972 novel Death Wish was the source material for the the classic dad-on-a-rampage movie of the same title.
