Demon Knight
In the beginning, before the Earth was formed, demons used these seven keys to focus the power of the cosmos into their hands, but after God created the world, He scattered the demons and then scattered the keys all throughout the universe. After millions of years of searching, they retrieve six of the keys and find the location of the seventh on Earth. To prevent the key from falling into the demon’s hands, it was filled with the blood of the dying Jesus Christ, obtained during his crucifixion.
Hold up in an old church turned roadside motel with a group of people on the outskirts of a small town in New Mexico, the Guardian fights to protect the key while the demon Collector tries to seduce and coerce the others into doing his bidding.
The first feature film from the HBO series Tales from the Crypt, Demon Knight was originally intended to be the second film in a trilogy, with a New Orleans zombie story Dead Easy (or Fat Tuesday) and Body Count. The box office disappoint of Bordello of Blood sealed the coffin on the production of the other films.
