Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn
Ash takes his girlfriend Linda to a secluded cabin in the woods, unaware that it’s last inhabitant was a professor studying the recently unearthed Necronomicon Ex Mortis, a legendary Book of the Dead said to serve as a passage way to the evil worlds beyond. Bound in human flesh and inked in blood, the ancient Sumerian text contained bizarre burial rights, funeral incantations and demon resurrection passages; it was never meant for the world of the living.
Ash discovers a recorder in the cabin and plays back the professor’s recitation of passages from the book, accidentally conjuring evil from the woods that won’t stop until it has swallowed their souls.
Evil Dead 2 is the second installment of the Evil Dead trilogy, which includes The Evil Dead and Army of Darkness.
