A cheerleader and prom queen turned Manson Family member is the subject of this movie about infamous madman Charles Manson formerly titled Leslie, My Name Is Evil.
Manson My Name Is Evil was an Official Selection of the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. Besides being hailed as “close to perfection” in capturing the horror of the Manson murders, it also boasts what everyone wants in a good horror movie: “Senseless Violence, Gratuitous Sex, and Over-the-Top Killing!”
The official plot goes like this: Perry, a sheltered chemical engineer, falls in love with Leslie, a former homecoming princess, when he becomes a jury member at her hippie death cult murder trial.
Written and directed by Reginald Harkema, Manson, My Name Is Evil stars Kristin Adams, Tom Barnett, Robert Dayton, Sarah Gadon, Kristen Gutoskie, and Kristen Hager.
The DVD hits shelves October 12th, 2010.
