In 1993 Webster Colcord had a strange dream. In two weeks that dream had become a storyboard which became Backyard Barbeque, an odd combination of live action and stop motion reminiscent of the great mixed media scenes from the likes The Evil Dead and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.
Backyard Barbeque was shot on 16mm film in a day with the stop motion animation added in the following weeks and stars painter and art car enthusiast Scot Campbell, also known as Extremo the Clown.
